A big go raibh maith agaibh to Volunteers Imelda and Chris (and Buddy) for spending the day with us on Thursday. They delivered two assemblies to the children, P1 - 4 and P5 - 7, as well as workshops with the children in Primaries 6 and 7. The message was SPEAK OUT STAY SAFE, giving the children a range of strategies for dealing with issues that may arise in their lives. They introduced the children to BUDDY, the NSPCC Mascot, as well as focussing on the number for Childline 0800 1111. They ended the day with a presentation for parents on internet safety. Many thanks to all the parents who sent in a pound for the non-uniform day, this money will go to help the NSPCC continue their fantastic work!!
