The week began with a surprise trip to for the P7 pupils to Craigavon Ski Centre for snow-tubing, with a free round of soccer-golf thrown in by the centre (go raibh maith agaibh). On Tuesday, the boys did very well in the football blitz, losing to our local rivals Annaghmore in extra time in the semi-finals. Wednesday brought a little snow and we made the word's smallest snow-person. We ran a mock quiz on Thursday for the children who qualified to represent the school at the Credit Union Quiz (how did we got on? check out our post next week) and Friday saw the 1st of February and St Brigid's Day, the first day of spring in the old Gaelic calendar. Throughout the week, the children continue to practise for the big show later in the year.
