We teach the children various forms of writing, from fiction to poetry to recounts to reports etc etc etc. One of the most popular forms of writing, however, is instructional writing - 'how to' texts. The reason for this popularity - recipes are examples of instructional texts and there is no point, of course, in writing a recipe without following your own instructions and making the meal in question. In this case, delicious fruit kebabs!! Yummy!!
