Chalk and Talk in the Gaelscoil
26ú Márta 2021
'Chalk and talk' is the expression used for education in the 'old days' when the teacher would stand at the blackboard and talk at the children. Nowadays, however, teachers use a wider range of strategies to help the children learn, and chalk and talk is more likely nowadays to mean drawing all over the school playground, while talkin (in Irish) to their friends and teachers. This is how Rang 3 spent a lovely, bright Friday morning in Spring!!
